Monitor 2714 Spider Lift
What it’s used for
This machine is designed to lift people and their tools into places other EWPs can’t reach — not heavy materials. Typical uses include:
* Working in atriums, stairwells and internal courtyards
* Tree work and garden maintenance
* Building maintenance over gardens, ponds or uneven ground
* Installing lights and signage in tight or delicate areas
* Painting and facade work
* Jobs where a wheeled EWP can’t get close enough or would damage surfaces
How it works
A folding, telescopic boom sits on a compact tracked chassis with extending outrigger legs that spread the load and level the machine on uneven ground. Once set up, the boom unfolds and extends to give a working height of 27m and 15.1m of horizontal reach, letting it reach up and over obstacles into places a wheeled EWP can’t fit. Weighing around 5,200kg, it can be tracked through a standard doorway before unfolding, and can climb stairs and slopes to get into position.
Why choose it:
Choose a spider lift when the access is the hardest part of the job — through narrow doorways, up stairs, over soft ground or into courtyards a wheeled machine simply can’t reach. Its tracked, self-levelling base and folding boom make it the most versatile option for difficult access jobs.
Ideal for tight hard to reach areas. 15.1m horizontal outreach from a 1.99m stowed height, 360 degree rotation even in narrow set
