60′ MEC Diesel Scissor Lift
What it’s used for
This machine is designed to lift people and their tools, not heavy materials, on uneven or outdoor ground. Typical uses include:
* Structural steel and construction work
* Warehouse and shed installation and maintenance
* Electrical and services work at height
* Air conditioning and roofing installation
* Painting and cladding work
* Signage installation outdoors
How it works
The platform raises vertically using a series of criss-crossing steel arms, hence the name “scissor lift.” This diesel model uses four hydraulic outriggers to level and stabilise itself on uneven ground before lifting, reaching a working height of 18.29m, and its diesel engine gives it the power to work reliably outdoors, away from mains power.
Why choose it:
Choose a diesel scissor lift with outriggers when the job is outdoors or on ground that isn’t flat and level. The outriggers let it set up safely where a standard electric scissor lift can’t, while still giving you the stable, roomy platform a scissor lift is known for.
