45′ Diesel Knuckle Boom

What it’s used for
This machine is designed to lift people and their tools to reach awkward, obstructed areas — not heavy materials. Typical uses include:

* Installing lights and signage
* Electrical and data cabling work
* Painting and rendering at height
* Air conditioning and duct installation
* Tree trimming and building maintenance
* Reaching over obstacles such as garden beds, fences, awnings or existing plant

How it works
The boom is made up of jointed, articulating sections that bend at multiple points like an elbow, letting the platform reach up, out and over obstacles rather than travelling in a single straight line. With a working height of 16.07m and 7.65m of horizontal reach, it can get to awkward spots a straight boom or scissor lift can’t. This diesel model can also be driven slowly while elevated, allowing the operator to reposition without climbing down. As its boom length is over 11m, operators need a WP (boom-type EWP) high risk work licence to use it.
