Toyota 2.5t Forklift
What it’s used for
This machine is a counterbalance forklift, designed to lift, carry and stack palletised loads and building materials — not people. Typical uses include:
* Loading and unloading delivery trucks
* Moving palletised stock around a warehouse or yard
* Stacking materials on racking
* Shifting building supplies around a site
* Loading and unloading shipping containers
* General yard and logistics work
How it works
The forks slide under a pallet or load and a hydraulic mast lifts it vertically, with the engine and counterweight over the rear wheels balancing the load at the front. This 2.5 tonne capacity model is driven from a seated position with a steering wheel and foot pedals, just like a standard vehicle, making it easy for a trained operator to manoeuvre around a warehouse, yard or site.
Why choose it:
Choose a counterbalance forklift when you need to move or stack heavy palletised loads quickly and repeatedly, rather than lift a person to height. It’s the standard workhorse for warehouses, yards and construction sites shifting building materials and stock, and requires a current LF forklift licence to operate.
